When this family of five wanted to optimize the natural light in their modern home, they met with the Lluminare team, who listened to their needs and ideas and together made a plan to bring more light in.

Some of the challenges Lluminare faced were the sizes of the door constructions. “We needed to maximize the amount of natural light yet not jeopardize the structural integrity of the door construction itself,” says Dennis Lenchuk of Lluminare.  “We reached out to our engineers and came to a conclusion of adding a thicker steel bar inside the profile.”

This expertise and willingness to find solutions makes the Alpharetta business stand out. Lluminare has been manufacturing custom windows and doors in Eastern Europe since 1994 and brought their secure, quality, energy efficient windows to the U.S. five years ago. The company has been an innovative leader in the field, designing multi-point locking systems, eco-friendly rubber sealing and a state of the art thermally broken aluminum resulting in a durable product that outlasts most materials.

The Alpharetta area family had priorities. They were looking for a quality product and modern design. With particular ideas about the performance they wanted out of the windows and doors, the family was pleased with the results. “We used three different constructions,” says Lenchuk. “The first was a tilt and turn window the second was a fixed window and the last were the tilt and slide doors (which tilt like windows).” The company prides itself on maintaining a high standard of quality, energy efficiency and security, at a price point well below comparable products.
