Whiskey News

The crew at American Spirit Whiskey have been waiting nearly two years for their beautiful new stills to be delivered. Manufactured by Louisville’s famed Vendome Copper Company, the 200- and 400- gallon twin copper pot stills stand 15 feet tall. They were due to be delivered around our press time. The permitting for the distillery build-out and closing on their first round of equity capital should now be in place! You can visit the distillery to meet the stills. In the next few months, these copper work horses will begin producing everything from brandy to bourbon to innovative American malted whiskies. Local boys Jim Chasteen and Charlie Thompson are driving the bus at American Spirit Whiskey, now available at fine liquor shops around your neighborhood. As they say, “…keep drinking with character.”
